Traditional soap making transforms fats and oils through saponification. Different ingredients contribute different fatty-acid profiles and influence the character of the finished bar. Makers should formulate by weight and calculate alkali requirements using the specification of the actual batch.
Soap making with alkalis requires gloves, eye protection, suitable ventilation and accurate lye calculations. Store oil sealed away from heat and sunlight.

It's lovely to work with in soap but does have a very vinegary smell. So I have combined it with macadamia and tallow with lemon essential oils 🍋

My order was sent to the wrong place. I struggled to get hold anyone. The only reply was from the whatsapp number and they just told me to send an email or to phone, which I had done without success. When it finally arrived, the packaging looked like it had water damage and a cockroach crawled out of the box.

The oil works well in soaps. There is a slight smell to it, but not overwhelming. It is quite normal for soap making oil.
Use this product before and worked well. This time the product is quite dark, which discolours my soap reason for a lower rating.

I must have gotten a bad batch. It smelled rancid and was unworkable in hot and cold process soap. 10 litres wasted. I'm sorry, but I won't take the chance of buying again.
