Cold pressed from regular sunflower seeds in South Africa without solvent extraction, this unrefined oil has a light golden colour and mild nutty flavour. Ideal for dressings, baking and gentle to moderate-heat cooking.

This is conventional, not high-oleic, cold-pressed sunflower oil. Its natural light golden colour and gentle nutty notes make it pleasant for dressings, baking and lower- to moderate-temperature cooking.

Cooking inspiration

Use in dressings, vinaigrettes, cakes, muffins and gentle sautéing.
Coleslaw dressing. Whisk with apple cider vinegar, a little sugar and mustard, then toss through shredded cabbage and carrot.
Buttermilk rusks. Use as the oil in your favourite buttermilk rusk recipe.
Softened onions. Cook sliced onions slowly over a medium heat as the base for stews and sauces.
Thin pancakes. Add to the batter for thin pancakes and serve with cinnamon sugar and lemon.
